"My heart is warm with the friends I make"

Mary Ann surprised her parents by her birth. (They had her late in life and the doctor told Angelina she had a tumor.) She was a graduate of St. Catherine's in Benicia and served as Junior Queen to the Queens in many of the local Holy Ghost Festivals.  She lost her mother in our Junior year and her father a year after we graduated. She moved to Fairfield and lived with her Uncle Walter and grandmother until she married.  She got a job at the Farm Bureau, after a summer of slicing apricots, and continued working there until she retired. She married her husband Harold in December of 1964 and they had two boys, Todd and Travis.  She and her husband shared a love of boating, took many trips on their boat, joined the Solano Yacht Club and Mary Ann became Treasurer, a position she held until her death.  She loved to travel and became a travel agent on the side so she could plan trips and tours and, of course, go on them. Late this summer she began experiencing back pain which grew steadily worse.  She died October 28 after a brief hospitalization .  She was a wonderful friend and brought love, joy and laughter to all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.
