Joan Thompson Casey
3/11/44 - 7/23/10

Joanie participated in just about everything when she was at Saints.  We will always remember her as the bride of a gondolier in the Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta, The Gondoliers, and for her role in Pride and Prejudice.  Joan could often be found clowning around in the school rallies.  She did very well in her studies and went on to college at Sacramento State University, where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Patrick Casey.  Joan and Pat were married for 42 years and raised five children “out in the country” in Waterford, CA.

Five children did not stop Joan, who did it all.  Some of her many activities were: Cub Scout leader, Girl Scout leader, PTA officer and she was Director of Religious Education for her church for twenty years.  Joan pursued her love of art, finding joy in sketching and watercolor painting.
